18th century 'Cat' Costume - Lady Teazle

For my most recent project in college we were designing costumes for the 18th century play, School For Scandal. For my take on the play, i gave each character an animal that i thought reflected their character traits and designed elements of that animal into their costume. When it came to making I decided to make Lady Teazle, who i had seen as a cat. Her animal elements mainly came into her wig, which i shaped into two points for ears and then added extra length into a braid like a tail. The corset/ Bodice is made from silk dupion and then the chemise is made from a silk that i dip dyed myself.
